ED-309 is the next model from the Enforcement Droid line starting with ED-209.  I used the same legs and parts from 209 to show its lineage.  Although 309 is developed as a military weapon he later becomes Robocop 2 once Cain's mind is integrated and he dones his silver armor.

personal redesign of ED-209

Continuing with personal redesign of the RoboCop universe.  I wanted to take another stab at designing ED-209 as a military weapon.  Let me know what you think.

Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two!

Hello everyone! Today is an awesome day. I can finally say what I'm working on in Austin. Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two! Here is the first trailer.

On a side note, it's so amazing how this group started and where we all ended up and are continually going in our lives. Hopefully everyone in the group can take some time and let us all know what we are up to these days. Take care everyone!

marketing posters and Robocop 2 redesign

Continuing with my redesign of the Robocop universe I thought it was time to redesign Murphy most dangerous opponent, Robocop 2.While Robocop 2 was extremely impactful to me as a kid I questioned his inception, and so I wanted to update his design as well as give him a more logical back-story.

In my version of Robocop, Dick Jones’s ED-209 was the loser as an urban pacification droid to Robocop’s superior technology, however his design was successful as a military contract and is utilized by the Army as an all terrain tank.Robocop 2 is actually the next version of the ED line called ED-309. I rendered a version of ED-309 with his military amour and graphics. Having been humiliated by the original Robocop’s team success, Dick Jones is obsessed with creating a superior machine, which drives him to recruit Cain as his candidate for Robocop 2. ED-309 becomes Robocop 2 when Cain’s mind is inserted into a 309 unit and is a given the traditional metallic steel amour. I’ll likely do a rear view soon but please let me know what you think.

We need your support!

Hi everyone,

I’m excited to announce that my fiancĂ© Kam and I are releasing a Dollar Campaign to raise money towards the cure of the disease HIBM. As some as you may already know my fiancĂ© Kam is afflicted with HIBM, which is a progressive muscle wasting disease which can lead to total disability within 10-15 years. We both work very hard for the non-profit organization ARM (http://www.hibm.org/arm/index.php) which is dedicated to curing this debilitating disease.

With ARM we have created this dollar campaign with the hopes of raising 1 million dollars to enable human therapeutic trials to fight HIBM. We are asking for two things: First, go to WEBSITE (http://www.hibm.org/arm/dollar:home) to donate $1. Second, send this email on to all your friends and family.

In the Internet age, reaching one million people in that amount of time is surely do-able. If you are interested in becoming a bigger influence in this campaign, host your own dollar collecting campaign in your community, church, workplace, among your friends and family and donate what you've collected as one donation. Or you can post this story and image on your own blog and Facebook page. The more people we can reach increases the awareness of HIBM.

HIBM (Hereditary Inclusion Body Myopathy) is a progressive and debilitating muscle-wasting disorder caused by a gene defect. It touches those between the ages of 20 and 40 and, although progression is slow, it typically leads to total disability within 10-15 years. Studies suggest that HIBM may be easier to cure than many other disorders or diseases, the only limiting factor is funds.

Thank you for your support,

Jason Hazelroth
